Increasing Link Popularity
Why is link popularity so important?
Because if you had a porthole to another dimension so too are Search Engines are a porthole to the Internet. If you can’t find another dimension or you then there is no need for a customer to buy what ever you are promoting.
Link popularity is the way your website is categorized by a search engine. The search engine looks around and finds links on other sites that link your site and then says well this must be a good site look how many other websites link to the site.

I actually own SEO Elite and have found it quite useful the program is like having eight traffic generating features rolled into on.

Another reason use of SEO Elite is important is that if you just link to large numbers of websites you may not gain the link popularity you want and it may have the opposite effect and so by the use of SEO Elite you can find authoritative sites that are related to your site.
Remember link farms BAD, Authoritative sites GOOD.
Keep in mind that you probably don’t want to link to sites you don’t want your visitor to view. Linking to poor sites will lower your popularity and you don’t want your visitor to think what a bomb these links are totally useless. You may lose credibility.

You may find that not every site will want to link to other sites no matter how good they are so use SEO Elite to find sites interested in being a link partner.
Look for sites with high ranking and are not competing with your products, check out their quality of graphics, writing and layout. Check out other sites they link to. Linking to other sites can make or brake the advantage of having them as a link partner. Also try to discern if the site would fit into the crowd that visits your site. Um, I think that’s called demographics.
On the flip side if the link partner is interested in swapping links then make sure your site is interesting, pleasing to the eye and well written.
If you are able to link with a partner and you place their link on your site if you do not see their link back on their site within a set amount of time say about a month then remove your link to their site on your site.
